I have 4 cameras in BI. I have everything setup based on optimization for CPU on the www.ipcamtalk.com/wiki/optimizing-blue-iris-s-cpu-usage/

As I write this I am in front on one of my camera on night mode. I have motion sensor checked under trigger with a few standard settings.

I have my PC open to BI and I'm expecting to see the camera start recording since I am creating motion.

However it is not doing anything. I'll look more that the trigger and record options but I was hoping to get some feedback.

Let me know what additional info I can give. Thanks.

Sorry for the bad screenshots. I did them from a RDP session.

2 second make time is pretty high. Try turning on the use zones and check those settings. Also watch the YouTube videos on motion detection & zones to learn how to use BI a bit more.

I believe in another post Fenderman said to not use the hot spot.
