And the crowd cheered
Guess I missed the Money part in this Thread:I don’t think this has ever happened before…. Bullion dealers independently raising spot price while markets are closed?
You should go back to school.
The Market and the economy arent tied and are very different

and don't forget the Student Loans entrapment scheme that they can not modify even in bankruptcy for those "good white collar jobs" that will be captured by AI
honestly, I have seen many jobs listing a BA as a requirement, when in fact a good high school grad should be able to do it.
“Student Loans entrapment scheme?” Never heard that before.
The fact that people seek out these loans without a gun to their head and then proceed to get a degree in a useless field, often times spending four years learning nothing useful but having a great time, leaves me with ZERO sympathy. Nobody promised them anything.
This is exactly why this idiocy spouted by the left (Clinton, Obama) that they wanted to make four years of college as common as high school was so destructive. It adds nothing, just costs a lot more.

Gold took a nose dive today, down 4.3% when I looked.

When the Scum prey on Children and Elderly, I don't think Life in Prison is enough, IMO.A couple of months ago an elderly member in my family got scammed. Urgent phone call came in, some kind of problem with her checking account. Immediate action required to protect account. She gave up enough info that the scammer was able to establish an ACH link complete with the confirmed microdeposits, then the whole account got transferred to another bank. Thanks to another family member getting wind of it an jumping right on it, the money got recovered.
My first reaction was to ask how the family member or anybody else could be so dumb? Then I began to remember how I'm making more and more mistakes as I get older, and honestly wonder if I too could be that dumb some day? The best defense I can think of right now is awareness of the scams, and resisting somebody else telling me that immediate urgent action is needed.

The best Cons / Scams do not require firearms
and none of these scammers are putting guns to the elders they scam ..
it is still a con job / scam job

Sorry, but it's not the same. It just isn't.
Indeed not the same .. the Student Loan scam is far larger and more systematic
Sort of along the lines of the systematic way the WOKE blame game worked ( or the Pandemic vax game ), but not as obvious until you dig into it more.
The only way it would be the same is if vulnerable elderly people actively applied to get scammed. The student loan issue is certainly based on the false premise that "higher education" is an investment; it can be, if the student opts for a field that trains them for a career, but far too many don't do that. Again, that's not the fault of the system.
The main "scam" there is that Obama & Kompany greatly increased access to student loans, which in turn allowed colleges to raise tuition, and the Bidum administration, which wanted to forgive these loans. Sheer idiocy.
