Was a busy day for me in the market. Finally had one of those days where everything worked, at the same time!
Will pour a cocktail shortly, but thought some might be interested in what took place today with regards to the Bond market

My winners today (all of them were for a change - rare day)
XLE- sold at about 1pm at 63.88 bought at $61.35
GLD- still holding- big day for Gold bought at $400.55 (currently $415.90) I'm in and out of this weekly but will probably now hold to $500- wish me luck
SCHD- my one set and forget fund. Its my core position in my bigger no-touch account and I use it to hold money in my trading account -up 27.9% YTD
XLV- bought at $169.70 last week -sold at $175.82
I rarely play more than 3, took a chance on XLV as I've been watching it

$166.35 at end of after hours.
So only up $103 or so...
With the RSI showing heading to oversold
So in terms even I can understand:
Bond yields were rising fast, this is bad
Bond yields were rising fast, this is bad
- This costs the US more to borrow/print
- it is getting out of hand fast
- So Scott Bessent (Treasury) declares the Treasury will start buying back large chunks of their own bonds he printed to sell, which finance our debt (circular firing squad)
- - it worked, yields started declining - for 1 day
- - now yields are moving back up
