Mini-Review - 5442-ZE-S3 AKA T54IR-ZE-S3 - Replacement to 5442-ZE

They've changed that name a number of times. On the S2 (gray UI version) it literally had a checkbox "Smart IR" by the IR settings

On the newer S3 (blue /White UI) its simply "Auto" under Illumination, along with the "Illumination Overexposure Remover" control

I have the gray UI so it must be a S2. I also found the smart IR check box so I guess that answers my question.

EDIT - I updated the firmware using the Smart IR version and now I have a much improved image. Go figure.

The Turret S2 has onboard mic which actually works versus the garbage on the T54Pro - the bullet 5442 model requires external mic
