Do feel free to share what your question(s) was and what the answer turned out if you'd think it would help anyone else out.
 
Lorex just discontinued support for a lot of people.
To be sure, I knew what I was buying and was ready for them to drop support.

FLIR or Lorex brand FX/FXC Series Wi-Fi Cameras
FLIR FX, FLIR Secure and Lorex Secure apps will no longer be supported as of Aug 15th, 2019,
