The Non S3 model is no good? I have one that's practically never used. With PFB203W Wall Mount.
The previous 5442 versions are fine. The S2 turret actually is a bit more light sensitive than the S3
I've bought a 5442-S2 in 6mm and noticed that it changes faster. I think I read somewhere in your thread that they only need very few lumens for that.
I havent done any scientific testing, but in the two locations I have them, I replaced S3's with the S2's I had in boxes in the closet because they were able to switch to color with less ambient light.
Image quality is same, arguably a tiny bit better.
Frankly I was surprised
