Looking for the best 4K security camera (no IR / no night light, standalone, microSD)

Hello!

I’m looking for recommendations for a high-quality 4K security camera with the following requirements:

• True 4K (8MP) image quality – best possible detail
• No visible light at night (no LEDs / IR glow), or at least the ability to fully disable IR/night illumination
• Standalone operation (no NVR required)
• Local recording to microSD card
• Optional: WiFi access / remote viewing (not essential)
• Around 80 EUR

The camera will be used mainly for daytime monitoring, so image quality during the day is the top priority.
From what I understand, most cameras use infrared LEDs for night vision, which can sometimes be visible or cause issues.
Any recommendations for specific models or brands would be greatly appreciated.

"Around 80 EUR" - unless the Euro dramatically gets stronger, I do not see this as possible given your requirements.

I'd look for a Hikvision or Dahua OEM 8MP camera with a 1/1.2" sensor and IR LEDS. iirc you should be able to turn off the IR LEDs
