Looking for some way to upgrade my DS-7716NI-I4 beyond of V4.61.030 build 240123

Hi,

I have the NVR Hikivsion DS-7716NI-I4 (discontinued) up and running, the firmware V4.61.030 build 240123 (latest official). Therefore, I was looking for some way to upgrade to a recent version compatible with my device.

I have found the link

is possible to see a device list showing be compatible with several devices even the DS-7716NI-I4.

I decided to download the firmware

and try to upgrade using the digicap.dav, but I also received the message "Upgrade package and device type mismatch. Check the device type of upgrade package." as well.

Either way, I appreciate any help from someone who has had success with it.

That's for the M-series NVRs, a different model from your I-series device.

It doesn't list your specific I-series model, just the (C) variants, which use different internal hardware.
