looking for older full installs of BI.

I installed a new hard drive and installed BI version 6.0.0.1 and have had issues with it freezing. I believe i had 5.9.8 before with no issues. BI will only let me download 5.9.9.99.

Is there a tool that will automatically download the full installs for me? I know of BI tools but it appears to only download the update files and is around 5 years old.
 
thanks for trying. It's to bad no one seems to keep the full installs only the updates.
 
I believe this forum has all of the old versions (since v5.0.6.0, along with some 4.8.x versions) available for download. That being said, I've never personally tried downloading them to install BI, so I can't say if they work or not.

EDIT - this might also be what you were referring to when you said, "I can only find update installers." If it is, I don't have any better solutions unfortunately.....

Those files look like just updates, not full install downloads

I found them but they are just updates not full installs.

Yeah they are.

Why would they only save the updates and not the full installs? Makes no sense......

I'm still stuck on a version of BI that has a huge camera delay!!
 
Why oh why does this forum only save the update files and not the full installs?

Seems kinda stupid. Updates can be handy but if your version is crashing you can't go backwards on update installs. :nervous:

I believe that you can go backwards on updates, I have done it a few times, how far back you can go I am not sure, as I have only done this once or twice to revert back one version when a new release was problematic!

Just install any version and use the update to revert back to the version you want. No need to waste bandwidth with full install files. :thumb:
