I have a unique problem. We have some cameras mounted to the exterior of a building that has a car wash in it. The problem I'm having is that some of the car wash products blow out of the wash and deposit themselves onto the lenses of the camera. Has anyone tried using anything like VViViD Barricade or another transparent headlight film on camera lenses to protect them? I've reached out to Amcrest about proper cleaning. They responded with water and soft cloth, no cleaners. Lens covers are made with non-glass materials. Unable to tell me exact composition of the lens.
