KVM support

Do NVRs typically work with a KVM switch? (I have a newer empiretech unit and an older GW security unit). I'd like to use one keyboard, mouse, and monitor with both the NVR and a PC.
The KVM I'm looking at has several USB ports so I'd imagine the keyboard and mouse would be connected through it's built in hub and back to the NVR via a single USB.

I'd say that if the device (ie the NVR) works normally with a USB keyboard and mouse, it will work normally going through a KVM. KMVs are designed to be completely transparent (ie it doesn't exist) from the device's point of view.
