I'm just getting started with security cameras and I've decided to go with PoE. I've purchased an SV3C camera with PTZ, 2-way audio and 165 ft, night vision. I really like it, so I ordered an SV3C PoE NVR with 4 4MP bullet cameras. I quickly learned that the PTZ camera was not recognized when plugged directly into the same brand of NVR! The company's tech support confirmed this and I returned the NVR/bullet cam system. Anyway I hope to learn about which onvif compatible NVRs actually work with most cameras as I want to use cameras from different companies for various purposes.
