when I click on the question mark nothing happens this started a few months ago and unless I am doing something wrong or there is a special log in the help section does not work.

What that does is it launches the BI help file found at c:\program files\Blue Iris 5\ Bluriris.pdf (assuming that's where your BI folder was installed.)
