What’s has the Iran war achieved…at all?
Even if the “deal” (which is an MOU at best) is executed to perfection, nearly every material condition has been made worse for the American people.
At least 13 American lives lost. Tens of billions of taxpayer dollars down the drain. Jacked up prices of gas and groceries by billions and counting. Completely disrupted the global economy for the foreseeable future and further alienated us from our allies.
Meanwhile Iran still has their nuclear material, for now. A more radical regime is in place—which we will now flush with billions in cash and sanctions relief. The regime has confirmed their ability to shut down global trade in a whim. And a generation of Iranians will now be radicalized against the U.S. and our interests.
A complete mess. Will go down as one of the biggest foreign policy and political blunders in modern history, which is saying a lot.
