Is the regime in Iran soon to be toast?

Iran's Fars News now says air defenses in Tehran and "several other cities" were activated in response to "micro-drones and small UAVs including Orbiter-type aircraft." Orbiter is an Israeli-manufactured drone. Israel has denied any activity in Iranian airspace.

He has no intention of "making a deal" he's buying time to get all of the military assets in place.

Like many of his followers he WANTS war, not a deal. Makes him think he's a "tough guy"

President Trump today acknowledged that there was a deal to have the Strait of Hormuz opened up, that Iran had agreed to a mutually beneficial deal, but then on his word he canceled it.
Let that sink in: the Strait could’ve been open, a deal had been made, and because the president suddenly decided he didn’t want to allow Iran to benefit too, he sank the deal for everyone.
Not only again did the diplomatic word of the United States mean nothing, our friends and allies keep suffering financially.

That is close to being the epitome of failure of leadership.

Reporter: How long are you willing to wait for a response from Iran?

Trump: Don’t rush me. We were in Vietnam for 18 years.

Just do it.

Harvard Professor Answers Iranian History Questions | Tech Support | WIRED
WIRED

Apr 24, 2026 #Iran #IranWar #Trump
Professor Tarek Masoud joins WIRED to answer the internet's burning questions about the history of Iran. Is Iran an Arab country? Why did the Iranian revolution happen? Is Iran the only middle eastern country whose modern borders were not created by colonial powers? Answers to these questions and many more await on Iran History Support.

In this WIRED Tech Support video, Harvard Professor Tarek Masoud answers common internet questions regarding the history, culture, and political evolution of Iran. Key topics discussed include:

  • Identity & Language: Clarifying that Iran is not an Arab country; Persian is an Indo-European language distinct from Semitic Arabic, though the two cultures have deeply influenced one another throughout history (0:15 - 2:58).
  • Religion: Exploring how Iran transitioned from Zoroastrianism to Islam following the 7th-century Arab conquest, and how the country retains Zoroastrian traditions like Nowruz today (2:58 - 5:02).
  • The 1979 Revolution: Examining the complex factors that led to the fall of the Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, including his repressive regime, economic mismanagement, and backlash against his rapid secularization reforms (6:28 - 8:08, 9:41 - 11:51).
  • Modern Borders: Explaining that Iran's borders were primarily defined by historical conflicts with neighboring empires (Ottoman, Russian, and British) rather than being drawn by colonial powers post-World War I, which distinguishes Iran from many other Middle Eastern nations (8:08 - 9:41).
  • Political Symbols: Discussing the transition of the national flag, specifically the removal of the Lion and Sun emblem in favor of symbols representing the Islamic Republic (5:02 - 6:28).
  • Future Outlook: Addressing whether the current generation of protesters in Iran desires a return to the monarchy via the Shah's son, Reza Pahlavi, highlighting the significant ethnic and political complexities involved (11:51 - 13:20).

Iranian Oil storage should fill up soon ..

It’s becoming more clear that some type of weather modification had been in place in the region prior to the not-War

That or they’re experiencing a 30+ year weather anomaly

Trump teased the market late Friday about a peace talk meeting today in Pakistan.

Thing is, the Iranians said no fucking way 20 minutes later.

Now he’s trying to frame it that HE called it off.

The Iranians were there on other business and left before our two real estate grifters even took off
