Is the regime in Iran soon to be toast?

Here is Netanyahu in his own words explaining why he funded Hamas for years through Qatar. In his attempt to prevent peace, he funded the slaughter of Israelis and set the stage for genocide. They will attack everyone as Hamas supporters. But it was Israel that made Hamas.

They know it’s coming. They’ve manipulated the markets as much as they can, now that it’s close to delivery time that won’t work.

Will they threaten the oil companies?

Commies don't learn from failure; they attribute failure to the competent/wealthy, sending them to the gulag.

Where are these commies that are sending the wealthy to gulags? Got any examples? Here's the reality I see...

Ghislaine Maxwell Sentenced To 20 Years In Prison For Conspiring With Jeffrey Epstein To Sexually Abuse Minors

and then...

Deputy AG Todd Blanche defends moving Ghislaine Maxwell to minimum-security prison

Regarding TDS- there are extremes on both sides. We're too "in it" to know how this administration will affect the future. Takes a decade to begin to get a better picture. We're just now seeing the effects of the Obama administration with regard to how that administration handled Iran.

Really? Seems to me we are just now seeing the effects of the Trump administration ending Obama's Iran deal 8 years ago... I wish he would have just changed the name...

No point in us arguing over it... I doubt either of us would change our outlook. :)

... can't figure out how to quote line by line yet since I can't figure out how to see the quote brackets...

I was referring to the history of actual communists, and what would occur if "The Squad" types got their way. Those who see humanity as bugs don't understand human nature, and have no problem exterminating bugs that aren't undifferentiated androgenous drones mindlessly slaving for the colony.

As I alluded to, there's no negotiating with primitive regimes. Releasing funds to the largest state sponsor of terrorism isn't a sign of genius.

I've got an "Ender's Game" personality with these things though. The best time to address someone who credibly wants to kill you is now, and decisively. You have to meet people on the terms of their value hierarchy, not imagine they have your value hierarchy.

Europe draws up plan for a NATO without the United States.

I think EU countries are still in the process of trying to rent a conference room at the Comfort Inn to discuss how they are going to open up the Strait.

Being as North Korea wants to kill us, shouldn't we be doing something about that Now?

What about the next dozen countries who hate America? (we're creating more almost daily)

I no squad fan, but even if they had more power, I don't think they would be able to go full tilt commie!

Ender's Game

I am a big Orson Scott Card fan though... I'm often reminded of Ender's Game lately when I see military guys with goggles piloting drones. Get them buggers. LOL :)

It’s being heavily reported that many Iranian and Chinese vessels passed through the Straight today.

I guess I’ll have to re-read that CENTCOM memo. Maybe it’s only pink boats?

It’s probably just me…

“Yes, according to Iranian state media (Fars News Agency) and shipping trackers like Kpler and Lloyd's List, a US-sanctioned supertanker (identified in data as the Alicia or similar Iran-linked vessel) crossed the Strait of Hormuz into the Persian Gulf on April 14-15, 2026, heading toward Iranian waters. This defies the US naval blockade on vessels bound for Iranian ports like Imam Khomeini. US Central Command maintains no ships breached the blockade, with some tankers turning back, but independent data and multiple outlets (Straits Times, Reuters, Daily Sabah) confirm limited transits occurred.”

The only ones being blocked are those heading to or from an Iranian port...which the Iranian ships are assumed to and Chinese ships were …

Pentagon reportedly asks GM & Ford to begin producing weapons, reviving a WWII-era model.
For Ford it entails shifting all production to Pintos, which will be distributed for free in Iran.

Why?

==========

Why are we heading towards cutting $500,000,000,000 from domestic needs, to fuel the biggest military buildup since the 1940's?

The US, Canada, and UK have all announced they are preparing major wartime footing in the past 48 hours

1) The Pentagon has been holding talks with executives from companies like GM, Ford, GE Aerospace, and Oshkosh about using their factory capacity and personnel to boost production of munitions, drones, and other military equipment. Defense Secretary Hegseth has framed this as putting manufacturing on a "wartime footing."

2) In December, eligible men ages 18 to 26 will be automatically registered for the Selective Service draft pool, a change included in the 2026 National Defense Authorization Act that Trump signed in December 2025. The Trump administration has refused to rule out reinstating the draft.

3) The administration is requesting $1.5 trillion for defense in fiscal year 2027. The first time base budget defense spending has passed the $1 trillion mark, representing a 50%% increase. The OMB director described this as necessary for "paradigm-shifting investments" to allow the industrial base to "double and triple capabilities."

4) Troops and equipment continue to be airlifted to the ME daily. Troops on standby to invade Cuba, and strikes have intensified again in Central America with yet another boat bombed today.

5) The Pentagon released an updated policy in March reframing veterans in the Individual Ready Reserve from a last resort to a "mobilization asset," stating that deliberate plans should account for IRR use, "especially in plans for full mobilization." Task & Purpose Congress also directed the military to conduct a 21st-century mass mobilization exercise. The first since a 1978 Cold War exercise. The Trump mania for wars, which started with Venezuela, continued through Iran and will likely target Cuba, Greenland, and God knows where else next, is now beginning the gear up for what? World War 3. ?

Yes, so its stated.
Iranian and Chinese ships to and from Iranian ports have successfully passed

Next we'll hear "The blockade is only for ships going to/from Iranian port, on odd days, between 8am-5pm and flying pretty flags.

It is estimated the Iran not-War has cost the US taxpayers approx $50,000,000,000 ($50 Billion) already

Wheres that money coming from?

Tell me again why this was urgent? And why wasn't it urgent a year ago? and whats been accomplished?

I agree that AOC isn't going to have us standing before a firing the squad, but how many steps toward it should we take? Everything happens slowly, then all at once, and we're very bad at knowing where all at once occurs. All of that misses my point about how liberal authoritarians delude themselves into thinking the reason they haven't solved the drug problem is that they haven't provided enough clean needles, or the homeless problem because they haven't made it comfortable enough to be homeless, or made everyone wealthy by sacking the wealthy.

My reference to Ender is only to inform where my personality is. I didn't choose it; I was born with that instinct. We shouldn't go around trying to be enemies with people, but if they insist, then it's important they decide they'd rather not be enemies anymore.
