2 US UH-60 helicopters and a refueling aircraft were flying near Iran's southern border to search for the pilot of an F-15.Fars news claims the pilot was captured, while separate reports suggest a helicopter and possibly a tanker may also have been shot down.

With 10,000+ sorties flown thus far it's not surprising that an F15 was either shot down by Iran or they had mechanical issues and lost the jet. We are talking about a country whos military ranks right behind Ukraine and one that has specifically prepared for many years. Sucks but unrealistic to think more of this stuff would not or will not happen.

Iran is now offering bounties to civilians who capture downed enemy pilots alive.
State TV broadcasting this message to provinces in southern Iran after an F-15 was reportedly shot down near Tehran.

Is this the general who kept pushing for DEI promotions despite an order that DEI had no place on US military? :idk:

pro DEI promotions ? I would have thought those for that would have already been forced to retire in the military

of all government agencies, military should be based on merit

should not paint with such a massive wide Brush .. NATO is a very diverse group, 2 of which even happy to have a war with each other .. Turkey and Greece ..

remember Europe feels the effect of the USA Iran war far more than the USA is feeling it, and over all they are not happy with it.

Same with the Gulf Nations .. very unhappy about this war
