As far as I’m concerned, nobody should give a flying fist fuck about what Iran wants. They have already stated that their end goal is to wipe Israel off the map if they get a nuke. Fuck them.

Iran is going after the early warning radars/over the horizon radars in middle east bases. So far at least two big radar sites have been destroyed. These are mainly used to track ballistic missiles, its a big ground target and only one missile/drone has to slip through to be successfull.

I am sure they are getting real time help from Russia/China for targeting.

So now the US forces will have to rely on Aegis systems from warships and space based IR systems.
