Here's another thing, how much of these stories/reports are true? It would be easy enough to fake the news just to make more money/keep the perceived conflict charade continuing.

I'm guessing that well under half of the social media posts are either outright false or designed to lead the reader to a false conclusion. Sometimes a post with picture or video of something like a huge demonstration or destruction gets busted by somebody showing the photo or video is from a totally different event or location. There was recently a video posted of Trump claiming he was carried out of the twin towers rubble by firemen. What was clipped from the video was that he was talking about a different building at a different time. Costco rationing motor oil? I think we're supposed to believe there's a supply shortage. Maybe, maybe not, I don't know. But there could be other reasons, like speculators buying large quantities, and Costco just wanting to keep it available for their regular customers who change their own oil. Heck, somebody could buy the Costco oil, put it in counterfeit Mobil 1 bottles, and sell it for twice what they paid.

I consider the social media posts "for entertainment purposes only" unless they can be independently corroborated. Somebody can make one up in a few minutes, and it can take hours to do a fact check. It's a lot easier to throw stuff at the wall than to clean it up. If a poster is really serious, he will provide links or backup info to support what he is claiming.

just a question of time before US gets another Pearl Harbor or 9/11 event .. my guess terrorist drone hitting US Oil within the USA is a high risk probability
