You're also not hearing about deaths, possible captured, and the truth about at least some of the planes that have been shot down,.
You're also not hearing about why the carrier Abe Lincoln moved 1100 miles away

1. Why would Trump flat out show his cards. People hanging on every word think he's gonna give them the keys to the playbook. ~12 hours before the attack started Trump stated he had not made a final decision. But, you know he did already.
2. Who the hell knows who "we" are talking to in Iran. Maybe some jokesters playing like they are the IRGC, one of many IRGC talking heads who "think" they are in control? Not convinced everyone in IRGC is on board and likely making independent decisions. Could be working on driving a wedge between the various people in the regime.
3. Stalling for chess pieces to get into place....marines/carrier, carrier task forces, etc. You are likely to hear about an invasion of troops just after Trump says he's making great progress with regime leadership.
