Don't think Iran claimed to have targeted the Ford which was in the Red Sea it's beyond the range of Iran Anti Ship missiles but still within range of Drones. Mostly the Ford sailors didn't want to die for Israel.
The USS Abraham Lincoln attack by the Iranian missile was acknowledged by the US Navy and it's strike group was also engaged by Iranian boats or USV and it did reposition quite far off the Strait. But for the second attack they have no further details on any potential damage to US vessels.
Early on in the war a Chinese satellite photo of a Arleigh Berg class destroyer on fire was posted on X. But this was before second event.
