IPC-HDW5442TM-AS EOL? whats replaced it?

just noticed the famous IPC-HDW5442TM-AS is EOL, what is replacing it with its great night time image?

Well....it would be the new and improved 5442 series out of the WizMind-S models....better night time performance and still the recommended series and the names don't change LOL.

I asked Andy about HDW5442TM-AS availability a few days ago. His response:

"Will go on selling them in 2023."

I'm interpreting that as saying they are available right now and will be for some undetermined amount of time. Assuming the whole year is probably a stretch.

I would assume that Dahua and resellers will be selling off their existing stock of these 5442s before sending out the new 5442s. Popular model like that and Andy may have 6 months in storage.

Look how long the 49225 PTZ sold after it was EOL. Or probably any other EOL camera.

It also looks like the current "Full Color" models are staying under WizMind while all the others are moving to the new WizMind 'S"
