Hello,

I recently purchased an IPC-Color4K-X S2. The camera works fine but I have noticed that the Auto Restart of the camera takes about two minutes when all of my other cameras are a few seconds. I'm curious to know why this camera takes so long to reboot? Has anyone else noticed this?

I have Auto Restart set to daily but I may change the schedule to once a week. What do you do?

Or if not BI it could be Firmware.

A number of the FW versions had odd habits.
One of mine on reboot always changes the bitrate to 8192 (I set it at 16,384)

I believe you are correct. I went to the raw footage on several cameras and they all do take longer. Case closed, thank you everyone!

I never schedule the cameras to reboot. but the slowest one Is the Color4k T180..but its like 20-25 seconds.

Firstly, Hi! I have been lurking for some time and I have a question for you guys:How can I determine which port to use for a camera, or do I need a program to tell which port the camera is configured for? I don't know if this is the right forum for this question? Robert

Most of the time you don't have to touch it and default for camera and whatever VMS you use will find it.
