I'm in the market for a new long range bullet camera. Is the only difference between these two models the the ZE has 2.7mm-12mm varifocal zoom and the Z4E has 8mm to 32mm zoom?

They both can do smart animal detection?

they are identical except the zoom range..

ZE is like 0.5 to 2.0x zoom comparing to mobiles.. 113 to 45 degree of horizontal view...
Z4E is more 2.0 to 6.0x zoom comparing to mobiles.. 43 to 15 degree of horizontal view..

Pretty far, I ended up pulling the trigger on the Z4E.

And lol these are cameras 19 and 20 on the property (And 24 and 25 I've got overall), I got it! Thank you for making sure though. Actually, after the first three I got were varifocal, I have really only exclusively gone with the 6mm ones since then.

The Z4E is the favorite out of all of my cameras. That should work great for you. 25 cameras? Wow, that is impressive!
