The camera has been running for six years.
It is a turret camera, so there is no removable lens cap that can be tightened like the older bullet models.

Nothing has changed in the environment or the settings.
I am noticing a gradual fogging, or a hazy tint to the night video when it was once sharp.
It has gotten worse over the last few days. It appears that moisture has gotten inside it.

Should I even bother trying to remove it and drying it out at this point, or should I just get a new camera?

The cameras Gel packs are no longer doing the job they were there for. The camera needs to be pulled down and the 3 screws that hold the 2 halves together needs to be removed, Then depending on the camera built, Might pull all guts out or might need to remove the back board from the back half of the camera housing.. Either way there is some Gel Packs normally taped with some very strong tape. These need to be removed and new ones added of the same size or changed more often if you use a smaller package.. Then you will want to take off the camera from the front. Normally held with 2 or 4 screws and seen some that only had 3.. Then depending on the camera type of IR. The IR board might need to be removed as well. If not that type where the glass and IR board are not in same area of the front. SOme are some are not.. Anyway normally there is a plastic thing that should be removed so you can clean the front glass inside and out. I personally use different things. But if I have an issue like this I will just use Bounty paper towel and windex..

Thanks.
I will give this a try since the camera worked well for me when it didn't have moisture inside the housing.
