No luck I hope I'm doing it right too:

1) you must know the ip address of the camera. If not you are wasting your time. Are you able to log into the camera via your web browser?
2) dont use the scan function
3) Enter the ip address and the correct ports (the defaults should be 80 and 554) cameras user name and password.
4) select the the rtsp h.264/mjpg stream from the top of the dropdown list
5) change the path to those suggested earlier.

i'm putting in the right IP = 192.168.011. Didn't use the scan. The ports are defaulted. Selected rtsp h.264/mjpg. and tried both paths. Still not luck

that ip address is incorrect its not the proper format...can you log directly into the browser via a webbrowser?
What error message are you getting?

I got it working by adding a new camera by IP address, then on "Network IP camera configuration" page that comes up after, under address select rtsp:// from the drop down, and the address as x.x.x.x/img/video.sav. make sure you change your default username and password from "administrator" and no/blank password to something you'll remember or store in a password manager application by logging into the device prior via http.
