Improve night motion image - HFW5842E-Z4E

Hello, i'm trying to achieve better motion image (especially faces) at night. My camera is mounted ~3,5m above ground level and its ~15m from the target. The slowly moving face looks alright but when i start running its too blurry to identify (maybe its enough for recignition if you know the face). I have two other camers looking at the same direction and there is street light around. I triend different shutter speeds etc. but no more clue.
These are my settings:

i use firmware version: V3.142.0000000.3.R, Build Date: 2024-09-24

It would be really helpfull if you could pass me some tips

Maybe set Saturation and Sharpness to 40-45. Shutter to 4 or 5, and Gain to 50 to see if it help or not. Your video looks pretty good already. Sometimes it's just the camera's own limitation and not the setting that's the problem.

It would help if you post your Night settings, those look to be Day settings?

Use h.264.h which is the best quality codec
Also are you running SMD and IVS at the same time? I see tearing on the last few frames of the both videos, it could indicate the camera's resources are being strained. Use IVS only and turn off MD/SMD

Cut back on sharpness, try about 42-44
Try 40 on 3DNR
Play with Gamma and see effects on that pixelization

The 4MP version of that camera is much better at night, they use the same sensor and the 8MP is strained in low light.

I use only one profile for both day and night, is this much of an issue? I will check the codec and AI functions. Sadly I couldn't buy the 4mpx version, I have the Z12E version next to it and it's working perfectly for reading plates at night so I just assumed all I need bigger zoom - didn't work as good as i thought haha

To reduce the blur on the faster objects you'll have to have a faster exposure, like 0-5 or more. But the image will get darker.

Honestly i set IR to 100 before but there was no difference. The videos i showed you were captured with auto IR - i have seen a post here where someone said that too big IR could create some kinda blur so i changed it and its still alright, but maybe because of other setting i don't see the difference, i will do tests about it. The daytime image is very good, i see every face sharp and clear, even when people ride bikes or scooters. I will be back with more info after the weekend Thenk you for all your input

This are two of my 5442-Z4E cams. (4MP and not 4K) This area is basically pitch black, and the path is about 65' away. I still need to tinker with the focus, but given what I am seeing at a further distance, yours is not bad. Both guys were running, and Path South had some lingering fog.
