Certain elected officials want the crime to campaign against it! And certain judges are either afraid or corrupted.

Until those things are fixed nothing changes

Agree though that the whole Somalia gang thing needs to be eradicated

Immigration or Invasion?

The way I see it :

Immigration : Those people who want to come to America to become American ( that is keep the system ) and be successful ( for themselves, their family, and the USA ), and want their children to become Americans.

Invasion : Those people who come to America who want America ( USA ) to become something else, and or come to America for the welfare benefits.

And this is why I backed off IPCT for months in the last couple years.
The vitriol politics mentioned on this website disgusts me.
I did not become a member just to be inundated with forum political opinion messaging from either the left or the right.
I get enough of the fire branding on TV news and movies.

Would someone want me to go back just in the last 10 years and make posts of a HUMAN (white/black/German/Mexican/Korean, etc) trying to bribe another HUMAN in a court of justice case?
Would someone want me to go back just in the last 10 years and make posts of a HUMAN (white/black/German/Mexican/Korean, etc) rapist/child molester being released from custody to go out and commit awful crimes?
Pointing fingers at 1 specific group of HUMANS shows strong bias without considering all HUMAN groups are at fault.

The beauty is you have the right to not browse or to browse to another site or turn off the computer/phone.

But best of all, you have the right to post what you did as did others.........at least for now. I wonder what could happen that would change that? :idk:

I haven't been following ipcamtalk for a while... I came today to bitch about Blueiris V6 which I purchased yesterday.
I installed it on a second PC and absolutely disappointed I don't think it's finished and certainly not ready to be distributed or ready for prime time. Maybe I misunderstood but they accepted my money.

Also not sure why Trump and the upcoming loss of democracy in the good ol USA is being discussed here but then again I don't hang around here for world news or opinion ;)

Crime and criminals is at the top of the list of reasons most of us keep surveillance systems. It's a natural fit for the interests of many or most of the people here every day. Anyone who has no interest in crime and the impact of public policy on crime certainly doesn't have to peruse those "Chit Chat" threads for any reason. I don't think there is a rule about reading every thread every time a person visits. Nobody is going to be offended if a thread is NOT read by others who don't have that interest.

The reality is that public policy created a series of messes in the US. Unchecked Open-border & illegal immigration, combined with poor (or activist) rulings from the judicial branch have allowed violent crime to increase. When the ethnic makeup of RAPISTS comes overwhelmingly from immigrant demographics, there is a problem. We are seeing it in Europe, and we are beginning to see the same issues here. I don't want European-style social problems here, and we should be actively LEARNING from the experience in Europe to prevent that from happening here. We have enough of our own problems-- we don't need to import more.

This is Sweden-- I don't want it to be any given city or state in the US tomorrow and we should not turn a blind eye to it due to some fear that we might offend one ethnic group or another.

Someone let me know how to ignore/block "general" forum messages when I click on the "HOME" icon to see latest new messages so that I can help people with IP related cameras, I'll be a happy camper.

I don't think that's an option in this forum software. Perhaps some trickery with "memberships" could allow an opt-in or opt-out of forum subcategories???

Canada has become far more totalitarian. Evidence abounds-- including a few links on this thread. Take care of your own house please. ;)
