I have yet to have to replace a cree or Phillips...feit (sold at costco) on the other hand has given me an issue with two (they were early models with large heatsinks)...that didnt stop me from buying 24 of these for my folks, Costco Wholesale when they were on sale for 1.50 each (2.99 for a two pack, there was a utility company rebate).....so far so good, but its only been two months or so..

Yup, Cree and Philips are the two brands I'm using mostly now and they seem fine, don't get too hot, and aren't 80% heatsink either.
