I need help with the IPC-Color4K-T180

In a weeks time the IPC-Color4K-T180 has had no signal 1750 times. This has been happening for the longest time. What is the problem. I have run brand new wire, I have tried multiple switches, I have tried just a stand alone injector. I don't know what else to do. What is wrong with the damn camera?? Do I need to talk to Andy? Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did you see the same problem? Were you able to fix it?

Is that the only cam in BI with such an issue?

Is this a recent problem and the issue just showed up?
 
No, there is a PTZ that this happens to also, but that is only during when it is cold outside. When it warms up, that problem goes away.
This problem with the no signal on the 180 camera has been going on since the beginning. I just hadn't noticed it before because it didn't happen as often. Now, it is going crazy.

No, where it is installed.

Keep everything the same, but swap the camera, to rule out everything in between. And then the same with the trouble 180 where the other camera was.
 
Yeah, I could do that. The problem is that this camera is almost 20 feet high, in a tough place to get to. The thing is, I have seen where others have had a problem with this camera.
 
Well, I switched it out with another camera, and not one no signal message.
You're telling me I could have saved myself climbing a ladder almost 20' high just for the click of a box. Damn it. I'll hook it back up again tomorrow and check the box and see what happens. Let's cross our fingers.

Thread 'IPC-Color4K-T180 Intermittent 'No Signal' in BI'

I won a IPC-Color4K-T180 in Andy's last lottery and it's been installed for the past couple months. I’ve been having issues getting intermittent “No Signal” errors on BI. It appears to happen randomly and averages about every 10 minutes or so. The issue is only with the IPC-Color4K-T180, and does not happen to the two other 5442s that I have, all from Andy.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far with no success. If feel like I’ve ruled out any cable/connection issues:
  • Switched between the two separate CAT6 cables run to this camera. I’ve changed the patch cable from the patch panel to...
That one setting allowed me to go from dozens or more connection errors a day to none, and it's worked great since then. Bring back the ladder!
