Hi,
At my workplace we have a Hikvision camera, I can connect to that camera from my work but I can't connect to that camera at my home. What should I do?

You should be pleased that your work environment is protected from external access from the internet, which would surely lead to it being compromised very quickly.

At the risk of actually providing information the poster requested...

You could see if your work establishment allows connection to the local work network via a VPN. If you are able to access that VPN then you should be able to access the camera remotely. However, a prudent IT department would limit such access.

You could also see if the camera is being port-forwarded for external access. This is NOT recommended because it creates vulnerability in security.

I don't know how this camera works, I have IP address for the camera and my boss from the other city can watch our cameras but I can't.
How is it possible? From where does that website works? (It needs to have some access to the files on the computer )

Well, if your boss can watch the cameras, why do you not ask him? If he wants to give you access, he can tell you how to do it.
