Hikvision DS-kV8113 , not enough power/voltage to doorlock/eletric strike

Hi Smati, thank for your reply, but this solution is not applicable for me. Theoratically the integrated relay (my is HFD4/5-S) can support 12V AC but it's not certificated, so i've added a step-down adapter 12VAC to 5VDC with an additional low triggering relay and connectet it to the door lock

Hi guys I have a problem with this Doorbell. I use an external power supply and I wire it like this:

power supply +positive ----> Striker +
power supply -negative ----> Com1
No1 ----> Stiker -

when I do this connection and basically any other connection ( I tried all combinations) I dont get any Voltage (on multimeter) or strike. Is my unit broker or what ? Is there any setting i should do to make it work ?

thanks

If you read the entire thread it turns out that an external power supply is needed on both of the door stations discussed. :cool:

yes I do use an external power supply but still no luck. The door unlock button seem to not let the No1 slot to release the voltage
No voltage across striker even if you use N.C. #1 instead of N.O. #1?

do I need a power supply for the Doorbell as well ? because I am powering it with POE and only use the external supply for the striker.

No I tried N.C. and Com and no voltage whatsoever when i hit door unlock...
