How the hell do i export a video clip when the one and only usb port is used by the mouse??

This absolute tosh!
My neighbour has his bike stolen from his shed.
He asks can you review your cctv please.
I say yes.
I download the file using the app as it is the only way i figure on how to do it as i cannot connect a memory stick into the Nvr as the usb port is used by the mouse!
Then i try to play the file and it will not play using the Windows Media player.
Does he need to download the VSplayer!

Use the front port for the usb stick. I'm assuming 7604NI-E1/4P has one as I haven't used one.
They will need VSplayer same as most CCTV they have their own version of H.264

How the hell do i click on export if the usb is used for the stick. There is only one usb port!
Might do if i had one. What a joke.
Easiest way is to use the app and email the clips, along with a link to download the VS player. Lol, Hikvision.

The video clips are in the widely used standard format h.264 - however Windows media player doesn't by default come with a codec for that.
VLC media player will play it with no problems, as will many other modern players.
You can quite readily download clips and segments via the web GUI as well, using IE11 that has had the webcomponents plugin installed.

Now Dahua - that's a different, and more difficult, story ...

Actually not - you've picked about the only media player that doesn't support the h.264 codec standard.
Try your download with VLC.

Is there not a USB port on the back also? Above the LAN port?
Also VLC will play Hikvision H.264 but you might end up with greening or some blurring (I don't know how to best describe it).
Windows Media Player in Windows 7 to 10 comes with H.264 codec the issue is that it's H.264 isn't compatible with Hikvision H.264. Even re-encoders like handbrake struggle with Hikvision's H.264 implementation.
