Hikvision AX Pro arming status indicator on the outdoor sounder

Hi everyone,

I’m seeking some technical advice regarding my Hikvision AX Pro setup and setting up an arming status indicator on the outdoor sounder.

• Control Panel:Hikvision AX Pro (DS-PWA96-M-WE)
  • Firmware: v1.3.1 build 25113
• Outdoor Sounder:Hikvision External Siren (DS-PS1-E-WE)
  • Firmware: v1.4.2 build 240607
  • Power Supply: Maintained by internal batteries AND connected to a continuous external 12V DC power supply.

Note: Hik-Connect reports that both devices are running the latest available firmware versions.

Everything has been set up successfully—PIR sensors, door contacts, and the siren itself are properly enrolled and working as expected.

However, I want the outdoor sounder’s LED indicator to stay illuminated (or flash periodically) as a presence / armed status light whenever the alarm system is armed. The goal is to visually signal from the outside that the system is active, serving as a visual deterrent for potential intruders.

Given that the siren is powered continuously via external power, battery conservation is not a concern for this setup.

1. Is there a specific toggle or menu path in Hik-Connect or Hik-ProConnect / Web UI to enable an continuous/heartbeat LED indicator while armed?
2. Does the sounder support a "strobe/LED on arm" mode natively, or does this require setting up an automated rule / link scenario within the panel settings?
3. If this feature isn't directly supported on the DS-PS1-E-WE sounder via the AX Pro hub, is there a recommended work-around to achieve a visual arming indicator?

Any step-by-step guidance or experience with this specific hardware combination would be greatly appreciated!
