Hik POE, IP address troubles HELP!?!

Im aware of SADP tool aswell, iv no access to a laptop with a ethernet port right now. i just have a PC with 1 port and if i use that the PC wont have internet (not sure if that matters)

Do you have SADP installed on your PC?... if so, connect the PC to PoE port 4 on the NVR using an Ethernet cable and run SADP... post of screenshot of the main SADP screen on the PC...

(SADP should see the 2 working cameras on PoE ports 2 and 3 and the new camera on PoE port 1... let's see if the new camera is "activated" and what it's IP address is... or if it is set to DHCP)

yes i do. And i was told to turn off the power to the port that im plugging my pc incase it sends powere back to the pc, is that right?
just before i go ahead i thought id check

Much appreciated for your time and help on this puzzel of mine.
Ok so plugged into the Pc and NVR and found 4 devices and after about 2 mins it only found 3, i pressed refresh and still 3. heres the pics

ok that didnt work. I entered the IP with 3 at the end and tried other numbers too and no luck. It pops up saying modify completed but the IP stil stays just how u see it in the pic above

yea Cam 100% in and i pluged all the other cams out. So when the NVR and PC are connected the NVR gets picked up in SADP with IP adress as 0.0.0.0. Like u circled above. and the other 2 are the working cams.
so when i just plug in my pc and the none posting cam, SADP doesn't pick it up ? I reset the cam and tried different ether ports and cables nothing but the cams light does come on.
these pics might say something. and let me know if any of that info should be private, il remove the pics after u seen them.
20251021_202537.jpg thats the PC conected to the NVR settings
And then just the general ones

All brand new, unless iv done something wrong with the nvr etc.
i went to plug the 2 working cams back in and the D4 port didnt seem to post either of the working ones. but works on the original D2 and 3

should i try any of these resets? Iv no data i mind loosing or anything like that. I just think at this point reset everything?
If its a thing i could also do a call with screen sharing, so things might be more understanding and prompt

tryed that and moved to other ports to and nothing. I cant figure why it pops up to for a minute and then disappears ? so just the nvr and the 1 of the bad cams poped up in sadp and i tried to make it pop up again and nothing.
Also tried changing the IP on it and it wouldlt let me, I dont know if i was missing somethign that need to be filled out. but it didnt let me anyway

That just shouldn't be happening... seems like the cameras are defective?... where did you buy the cameras?... is there a chance to try having them exchanged?

What is SADP?

SADP "finds" devices using a multicast broadcast... so it will find devices on the network even if their IP address is not in the correct LAN IP address range.

Yea Im Begining to think its something more. It is a IP conflict it keeps saying i just cant seem to see the main problem or even change it. Ill call them on monday or tomorrow and explanie everything and see where i get from there.
They were both boxed and wrapped with no damage from the same company the working 2 and NVR came from so it is abit strange.
Il get back to u as soon as i hear some good news hopefully

I never thought about an "IP conflict"... I guess if there was one, SADP would act wonky... I was just browsing another thread and came across this comment from @Flintstone61 ...

AND, remember, if you " go live" with 4 brand new cameras, you will have an IP conflict with 4 cams at 192.168.1.108. This is bad. :banghead:

I've never had this problem because I always added 1 camera at a time... got that one configured, then went onto the next... so, I have no experience with an IP conflict... when you first added the 2 new cameras, did you plug them in at the same time?
