I have a Hik NVR DS-7608NI-SE/P as pictured
For starters I cant get a camera to connect when plugged into one of the 4 PoE ports on the NVR itself. I have reset the camera back to default settings and tried static and DHCP IP addresses.
I can see/view on the NVR 1 of 3 cameras connected to a standalone PoE switch connected to my gateway switch which the NVR is also connected to.
In hik connect I can only connect the 1 camera as I have set the password. The other 2 cameras I can't add as I don't know what the password is (for hik connect) and it does not give me an option to set one.
This the camera that works connected via a standalone PoE switch to the gateway switch, the NVR is connected to the same gateway switch
The following 2 cameras are connected via the same standalone PoE to the gateway switch, the NVR is connected to the same gateway switch
