Hickvision NVR with foscam camera motion detection?

Ive a cheap foscam C1 camera which im pretty impressed with. Is it possible to get motion detection with the foscam camera with a Hikvision NVR (7608) over onvif?

If you have the above hardware, enable onvif in the settings of the Foscam C1 and add it to the Hikvision NVR and try it.

Not all (in fact many don't) ONVIF compatible cameras generate ONVIF event notifications for motion.
It was an optional part of the ProfileS specification.
To find out if your camera does, query it with ONVIF Device Manager from sourceforge.net
Give ODM some logon credentials (top left of the window) and any events will show on the Events page.
