Hi all, got an Australian sourced camera on V5.6.2 05/09/2019 and want to upgrade to latest firmware I have found V5.7.21 but it fails, anyone have any idea why? Same process has succesfully updated my Gen 1 2CD2385FWD no problems. I have tried a few different sources and winrar, winzip and it still won't take the file.

Steumpy, I'm having the same problem. Did you find a solution? I'm also having problems with the old firmware not displaying the video in the web client which I think relates to the firmware vs. updated new browsers. It used to work and it works if I switch the main view to MPEG instead of webcomponents. But I don't have this option in the event window so I can not setup event triggers.... Have you had the same issues?

the CVE-2017-7921 vulnerability affects your camera's firmware version. This critical authentication bypass flaw (CVSS score 9.8) allows attackers to gain unauthorized administrative access by sending a crafted URL request (e.g., /System/deviceInfo?auth=YWRtaW46MTEK). Your IPC-T280H running V5.6.2 build 200624 is within the vulnerable range for its series. Upgrading to the latest firmware (V5.7.23) is essential to patch this and other security issues.
Maybe the difficulty upgrading is retaliation against these cameras being banned from installation in Australian government buildings?
