If you need to Bench test a Camera for it's Ice, Snow and 72 hours of -15- 21F Below capabilities, I'm your guy.
My Dahua IPC-HFW5231E-Z12(E) was outside for the worst 3 months of Winter clamped to a Black&Decker Workmate testing for Fog, from a repair using Clear Silicone Caulk on a cracked front glass.
Try that in Alabama

I also crack glass on perfectly good camera's ( no extra charge)
