Help with new NVR

Hey guys, I have just upgraded an old NVR to a new DS-7616NI-M2/16P - have a mix of 10 year old hilook and hikvision cameras , for the life of me i cant get any of them to connect , is there something im missing or will older cameras not work on the new NVR .

Also i wanted to factory reset my old 7616ni-e2 recorder but i cant remember the password. is there a way to extract it from ivms on pc or hik connect app?

If you can't remember the old Nvr password, that's the same password that's been applied to the cameras so you're gonna also have to factory reset the cameras in order to get anywhere

I have been using the same password for my old nvr for 10 years , i know what it is but it says its wrong when i try to log in , whats the easiest way to reset it?

with the new one i have factory reset the cameras , i can connect to them via sadp if i plug them into my network and log into them, if i put them on the nrv and put in the default username and password and pick manual not plug and play it comes up with NETWORK DISCONNECTED they are yc2367c-isu-28 cameras , any suggestions?
