I have several of the DS-2CD2432F-IW running the V5.2.5build 141201 firmware.
On the "Security Notification: Privilege-Escalating Vulnerability in Certain Hikvision IP Cameras" it says I should upgrade to at least V5.4.41 build 170310 or later firmware.
My plan was to do stair-step upgrade to reach the V5.4.41 build 170310
I found several versions of the Hikvision firmware for R0 Platform(DS-2CD2xx2) at a download portal at hikvisioneurope.com.
I downloaded V5.3.0 150513(Released) and logged in as admin on the GUI of the camera.
Went into the firmware upgrade section, selected the file and clicked upgrade.
The firmware status area then counted from 0% to 100% uploaded.
Then it shows "Upgrading succeeded. Please reboot device."
Now there is a overlay in the middle of the page that says "Rebooting"...
I eventually did a power cycle.
Camera is unavailable via ping.
What do I need to do to get this back working?
I have several other of the exact same camera I need to upgrade, is there a particular way I need to upgrade these to prevent any issues?
Thanks.
