NOTE: This is pertaining to the Blue Iris app, Blue Iris works fine on Wifi in my house. Hi all, it's been awhile since I posted and I am not the brightest guy so please be patient. So Xfinity did an upgrade in my neighborhood and I had the IP address for the WAN port forwarded in their software and I can not edit or delete it so I can change it to the new WAN IP address. I could not even get them to help me with tech support. As mentioned my Blue Iris works fine on WiFi but when I am out and about it will not connect. I am not sure if anyone can help me, hopefully someone good enough can ask for pictures of my settings perhaps, I just don't know what to do, I just hope I am making enough sense for someone to help me. Thanks, I would be really appreciative. Adam Farber

Well you shouldn't port forward, but if that is your preference and your WAN IP changed, force close the BI app. Next open it and it should show CONNECT, EDIT, ADD SERVER options. Choose EDIT and change the WAN to your new IP address.

You can find you IP Address by using whatismyip website.

Hi, thanks for responding. I did all that but without port forwarding the app will not work unless it's on WiFi. Thanks, Adam

Hi, no but they changed some hardware in some of the outside boxes in my neighborhood which changed one of my IP addresses. I think I may have solved it but I'll know tomorrow. Thanks, Adam
