I finally made an account here to do some research and possibly ask some silly questions. I don't get super technical with cameras but I have a few Dahua units hanging form the house and understand digital video OK. I use Frigate NVR and am 90% happy with it but I'd like more research grade stuff like mapping and Kalman filters. I'm building my own real time camera app and the pressure to make it better is sending me down the rabbit hole.
