Just got my hands on a Hanwha PNO-A9311RLP Ai LPR. I will slowly be transitioning from Hikvision to Hanwha due to the impending Hanwha ban here in the USA and I have been excited to test this bad boy out. I have temporarily set it up in a tree and I am currently testing it out before a more permanent install location is prepped.
I've had it up for two full days now and have captured 298 vehicles so far. I am very pleased with the out of box settings being able to capture every single license plate that has come across the lens. The vehicle recognition is another story, especially at night, but the daytime captures seem to be doing a pretty good job at identifying vehicle's makes and models. Here's a quick video I made this morning capturing a Tesla Cyber truck Hanwha LPR . I will be doing a lot more testing in the future and plan on doing a review video as I have done before.
