Recently I discovered GPU encoding...since I use Handbrake to downsize videos or clean them up I am excited to shorten this process so I am not overloading my CPU.
I am an avid Nvidia GPU user. I have had about a dozen Nvidia based/chipped video cards. Anyway, Handbrake supports Nvidia's NYENC (GPU Encoding) on video cards 2060+, 3060+. 4060+ and 5060+
Basically if your system supports NVENC it will show as an option in the Video Tab of Handbrake
