Getting comfortable
Lol... this old topic again. I recon a still image h.265 could possibly be better, or an environment that is bandwidth constrained where you configure for low bitrate.
100% get the theory, but in practice I just prefer H.24+, especially where you can support high bit rates. When the scene get's noisy is when I notice the difference, likely user error, but I've tried everything, keep going back to H.24+
Storage is cheap, cams and nvr run cooler, so why bother with H.265.
