Was using my Radio Shack DTMF Trimline phone just a few days ago to test this Grandstream HT802, a VoIP Analog Telephone Adapter (going with 1-VoIP.com for a single line to help my sight-impaired wife, so she can use a big-button, lighted keypad like on a V-Tech, Panasonic, etc. cordless phone that uses POTS). It's got to be 30 years old.
Which brings up a question: I wonder if current residential POTS lines will respond to pulse dialing?
did you ever dial a number by "pulsing" the plunger or hangup cradle?I have a rotary phone in the basement, and it still works, so pulse dialing is still a thing!
btw... I love making a call on it once in a while![]()
