Oil also comes in different quality ..

US is short of the heavy stuff we need

US Fracking produces a lot of the lighter Oil ( and as a result a ton of NatGas .. so US NatGas super cheap compared to what the EU pays )

US refineries need the heavier oil to run their systems

... which was the real reason for the incursion into Venezuela. Funny how we built refinery infrastructure perfect for everyone else's oil, but not ours.

We just need natural gas powered vehicles. It sells at a massive BTU discount compared to other fuels.
