Forum technical problems getting bad?

I’m traveling and I have to say if you don’t have a good ad blocker (at home my firewall handles this) the site is all but unusable
It is the most aggressive site for advertising i have used in my lifetime. It didn’t used to be this way.

I use AdAway on my Android phone. And I never see an ad on this site and many others.

on the same note other sites were I am not a paying member they have been as flakey as a no kings supporter
Not with an ad blocker, but on my phone without it, the site is unusable.
I VPN into my home when 1500 miles remote (like this week) and use my ad blocker capabilities of my firewall at home.
