I have started to order replacement cams in for my camera system. I will be using IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3 cameras.

My question is I have a mix of versions of firmware on my cams that have come in. Version 3.142.0000000.8.R & Version 3.142.150G003.0.R. Both version are working,

Before updating all cams to 3.142.0000000.8.R (the later version) I wanted to check with the forums members and see if anyone has been having issues with either of these versions. Any thoughts or facts will be appreciated.

Thank You.

I had been using the 3.142.15OG003.0.R.241221 firmware on all my IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3 cameras, but updated them to 3.142.0000000.8.R.250826. No problems at all, but it should be noted that I did a factory reset of all the cameras first, before initiating the update. I keep a 128GB USB drive with all new and older firmware versions for my cameras and NVRs; that way I never have to search around for the right one when updating (or reverting).

I have this installed on two units:

Device Model: IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3
Audio Input: 1
ONVIF Version: 24.12(V3.1.0.2288909)
System Version: V3.142.0000000.8.R, Build Date: 2025-08-26
Web Version: V5.01.0.2308726
Algorithm Version: V5.07.25.0
Security Baseline Version: V2.4
H5Player Version: V3.01.1

Unfortunately, I have found that on BOTH cameras I upgraded a reboot will cause the camera to go offline - it will respond to pings, but I cannot access the webUI of stream video to NVR. Power cycle doesn't fix the problem, all I can do is press the reset button, re-setup the camera, and then back to it being broken on reboot.

I have tried incremental set up (change setting, reboot, change setting, reboot, etc...and it will fail. I have tried changing everything at once, and it will fail. Unfortunately the nature of fault is such that I didn't detect it until the second camera was already upgraded.

So now I am two cameras down and I don't really know what to do.... :-(

I have one cam with that device info. It doesn't have that issue. Question- are your cams on a static IP address? Mine are DHCP with reserved IP address.

Have you talked with Andy?

BTW - Can you go back to old firmware? I don't have that firmware but maybe someone can point us to it.

I have received some older firmware versions from Andy! Testing now, but it seems that V3.142.15OG003.0.R.241221.bin is a better fit....have flashed this on, configured cameras, tried multiple reboots and it is looking solid the way it should be - so two cameras are back online! :-)

Good news !! Did Andy give you a link to V3.142.15OG003.0.R.241221.bin ? I think I will flash my one newer version to match the other 5 cams.
